The Kelly Family

8/6/09  For those of you who were unable to make it to the reunion, we sure did miss you!! The ones who did, I hope you had as much of a good time as I did. Aunt Sue had fallen, so Uncle Leonard's visit with us was limited. She did not break anything, thank goodness, but has been sore. Linda stayed with her so we missed her smiling face too. Then with Uncle Fred on his way to heaven, we missed him and his immediate family. We were blessed with other family members, that had not been in a very long time. What a great weekend it was!! We had swimming, a cookout, cards, music, lots of hugs, games, trophies, fellowship, free money, the auction and of course the food and desserts. The reunion for next year should be right around the same date, so please, look at your calendar, mark it and plan to come. Talk to ya soon. Love, Darla

8/5/09 We had a great turnout for the 2009 Kelly Reunion. Lots of food, family and fun.  There were 4 generations of family there, the youngest - 1 month old, the oldest 88 years old.  We will keep you all updated for the 2010 Reunion.  Also, I want to extend my thoughts and prayers on the passing of Fred Kelly on 8/4/2009. 8/4/09 Wow, what a great time I had at the 2009 Reunion.  I loved being able to spend the extra time with my family.  I was excited to see over 50 family members at the Friday night pool party and nearly 90 people at the park on Saturday.  Did you know next year will be our 55th annual reunion?  I can't wait!  Being on the committee this year has been such a rewarding experience and I know planning next years reunion is going to be a blast!  Love, Donna Bartley

6/2/08 This is marvelous. What a wonderful idea for communication. I am  really looking forward to this year's reunion. For some reason, I have  this feeling, of seeing some of my closest relatives, that I had been close to, at one time.  See you there.........  Darla Martin
